Internet Browser Requirements:
TechAuthority On-line specifically requires Internet Explorer 10.0 browser or greater. Using any other browser software may prevent Wiring Tab content and other data from being displayed properly.
TechAuthority On-line has been certified to work with the default browser settings. You may experience problems using custom browser settings. You may need to check the "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections" setting if you are using a proxy server.
Browser window needs to be maximized and 1024 x 768 or higher screen resolution is required for Engine selection to be viewable. You may experience problems using any other screen resolution or if your Windows Taskbar is aligned vertically and always visible.
Operating System:
Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 are required. Please be advised that other operating systems may not work.
Additional Requirements:
In addition to the requirements specified above, the following additional programs are necessary to ensure the correct functioning of all items.
- Java 1.7.71 or greater
- Adobe SVG Viewer 3.0
- Macromedia Flash 9.0 or greater
Printing Requirements:
TechAuthority On-line requires Adobe Reader 8.0 or greater for displaying PDF files. To view a PDF file you may need to download and install Adobe Acrobat version 8.0 on your system. A download of Adobe 8.0 is available on the TechAuthority On-line Home Page.
You will need to use the Print Button within the tool that is displaying some documents or images. The browser print button can be used to print the currently selected frame. The browser print button can also be used with certain print options to print the entire screen.
Logout of TechAuthority On-line:
Clicking on the Logout link located at the top of the application assures that you are disconnected from the application. If you don't logout from the application and immediately logon to the application again you will be warned that another instance of your user id is accessing the web-site. TechAuthority On-line will disconnect the first user instance from the web-site.
Flash Download:
TechAuthority On-line downloads two files. In order to reprogram a Vehicle Controller successfully, both files need to be stored in the same directory as instructed in the Flash Download window.
Security Note: After 2 hours of inactivity or more than 8 hours of use you will be logged out.
